TCM AromaAI by Dr. Cheng ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
Information We Collect
The App collects minimal information necessary to provide our services:
- Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription information is processed by the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and RevenueCat (depending on the device you install the App on). We do not directly collect or store your payment information.
We do not require account creation, and we do not collect personal data or usage analytics.
How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS devices.
- Google Play Store: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions on Android devices.
- RevenueCat: For cross-platform subscription management. Their privacy policy can be found at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- AI Service Provider: AI consultation questions you submit inside the App are transmitted to a third-party large language model service to generate responses. Queries are sent with an anonymous device identifier and are subject to the provider's data policies.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Data Deletion
You can delete your data from the App at any time using any of the methods below:
- Clear in-app history: Open any AI tool (AI Open Chat, Find My Pattern, Find My Body Type, or Pain Guide), tap the history icon, then tap Clear History to delete that tool's saved sessions. You can also delete individual history entries by tapping the trash icon next to each entry.
- Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the App from your device removes all locally stored data, including your anonymous device identifier, session history, daily usage counter, and any cached content.
- Server-side records: Our servers do not persistently store any user data. Temporary request counters tied to an anonymous device identifier are held in memory only for rate-limiting and are cleared automatically. If you have any concerns, contact us at drchengstcmaromatherapy@gmail.com.
- Subscription data: Manage or cancel your subscription, and request a refund, through the Google Play Store app, the Apple App Store Subscriptions section, or via RevenueCat if applicable. Deleting your App Store / Google Play account removes associated purchase records according to the respective platform's policy.
The App does not create user accounts on our servers, so there is no separate account to delete outside of the platform (Apple / Google) subscription record.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App.
